Job Description

As a Senior Digital Marketing Associate – SEO at Xerago, you will be responsible for driving organic growth across multiple websites through strategic and data-driven Search Engine Optimization initiatives. You will develop and execute SEO strategies, perform technical and on-page audits, analyze website performance, conduct keyword research, and collaborate with content, development, and marketing teams to improve search visibility, rankings, traffic, and conversions. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical SEO expertise, and the ability to manage multiple SEO initiatives independently.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic traffic, search visibility, and keyword rankings.
  • Perform comprehensive keyword research and identify high-intent search opportunities.
  • Optimize website content, metadata, internal linking, and site architecture.
  • Plan, execute, and track on-page SEO and technical SEO recommendations.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and search landscape assessments to identify growth opportunities.
  • Perform technical SEO audits to identify crawlability, indexing, rendering, and website performance issues.
  • Monitor Core Web Vitals and recommend page speed optimization opportunities.
  • Review and provide recommendations for XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags, redirects, structured data, and hreflang implementation.
  • Support website migrations, URL restructuring, redesigns, and SEO validation during deployments.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of technical SEO recommendations.
  • Work with content teams to create SEO-optimized landing pages, blogs, product/service pages, and other website content.
  • Prepare SEO content briefs based on keyword research, search intent, and competitor analysis.
  • Optimize existing content to improve search rankings, engagement, traffic, and conversions.
  • Identify content gaps and recommend new organic growth opportunities.
  • Analyze website performance using Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Looker Studio, Ahrefs, Semrush, and Screaming Frog.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly SEO performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor keyword rankings, impressions, CTR, organic traffic, landing page performance, and conversion metrics.
  • Present SEO insights and recommendations to internal teams and stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills

  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience in SEO and Digital Marketing.
  • Strong expertise in Technical SEO, On-Page SEO, and Off-Page SEO.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Looker Studio, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of keyword research, search intent, and content optimization.
  • Good understanding of HTML and website architecture from an SEO perspective.
  • Experience with Schema.org structured data, Core Web Vitals, canonicalization, redirects, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and hreflang.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple websites, SEO projects, and competing priorities.

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience working with enterprise or large-scale websites and CMS platforms.
  • Experience supporting website migrations, redesigns, and large-scale SEO implementations.
  • Exposure to international or multi-market SEO projects.
  • Knowledge of AI-assisted SEO tools, AI search optimization, and SEO automation.
  • Familiarity with content strategy and conversion-focused SEO practices.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams involving developers, designers, and content specialists.
  • Ability to interpret SEO data and provide actionable business recommendations.
