Job Description
Xerago is looking for a curious and passionate intern with an interest in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Programming to join our innovation team. You will work alongside experienced technologists to discuss, design, and execute innovative concepts that bring together electronics, software, automation, and sustainability. This internship is built for someone who enjoys exploring new ideas, experimenting with technology, and building practical solutions that make a real difference.

What You'll Be Responsible For
- Brainstorm and develop innovative engineering ideas in collaboration with the team
- Build and test electronic prototypes and automation solutions
- Work on hardware and software integration using sensors and microcontrollers
- Support experimentation, testing, and iterative improvement of new ideas
Example Projects You May Work On
- Green Building Setup for Our Office — explore energy-efficient systems such as smart lighting, power monitoring, and automation
- Sustainability Monitoring Systems — build simple solutions to monitor electricity usage and environmental conditions using sensors
- Energy Optimization Experiments — test ideas that reduce energy consumption through automation and smart control
- Prototype Development — build and test small hardware solutions using microcontrollers and sensors
Who Should Apply: Students or recent graduates in:
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
- Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Mechatronics
- Or related engineering fields with an interest in programming and hardware innovation
Preferred Skills: Basic knowledge is sufficient across any of the following:
- Programming in Python, C, or C++
- Familiarity with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, or other microcontroller platforms
- Basic understanding of IoT devices, sensors, and hardware integration
- Exposure to automation and building protocols such as BACnet, KNX, or Modbus
- Curiosity to experiment, build prototypes, and explore new technologies
